  20. For those of you who have missed the recent dust-up: FW 5, scheduled for 
  21. April, will contain RTF import/export capability. This is not "true" MS 
  22. Word format, but it is pretty close. RTF retains most of the formatting 
  23. features of a document. WW has had this capability for at least one 
  24. version now and claim it equates to MS Word import/export. The fact is 
  25. you will have to "export" the file from MS Word as an RTF file before you 
  26. can import it. 
  27. An added advantage is that owners of the latest WW, FW5, and MSW will now 
  28. be able to exchange files while retaining most of their formatting. I 
  29. don't know about you, but I take some pride in the results of my page 
  30. formatting efforts. Extra plus, FW5 owners will be able to include their 
  31. documents with their e-mail as attachements, as long as they export them 
  32. this way, and have them read nearly anywhere. I just told a potential 
  33. employer that I lacked that capability. Bummer.
